Dr. David M. Kell
Dr. Kell grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. After graduating from St. Olaf College in 1991 he studied dentistry at the University of Michigan Dental School, class of ’96. He continued his education at the Pankey Institute from 2001-2007 and the Spear Dental Learning Center from 2009 until the present. He also is a member of the Teaching Faculty at the Spear Center. After graduation in 1996 Dr. Kell started Kell Dental Arts in Hudson. 2017 marks the 21 year Anniversary of helping people find the smile of their dreams. The Kells (wife Amy, Matthew, Erin, Peter, and dog Finn) live in North Hudson. Dr. Kell coaches youth hockey, is an avid Packer fan, and a Parrothead. He enjoys travel, photography, duck hunting, fly fishing, and learning. His newest passion is offroading in his red Jeep Wrangler named Calvin.
Shelby started working at Kell Dental Arts almost 2 years ago. She comes to us with several years of experience in the dental field who graduated and started her career as a dental assistant. She has expanded her role in the dental field to an office manager and has been managing dental offices now for over 5 years.
Shelby takes on many duties and roles at Kell Dental Arts. From the bubbly, smiling greeter when you walk through the doors, scheduling appointments, assisting you in making the best treatment decision needed, and to be your reassuring point of contact during and after all of your services.
When Shelby is not working, she and her husband, Cody, enjoy the outdoors where they both are devoted hunters, fishing, enjoy snowmobiling, or going to their camper at Balsam Lake. They also have their hands full with their 4 fur dog babies (Lady, Remington, Avery, and Dixie).
Dental Hygienist, RDH
Brianna tarted working at Kell Dental Arts almost 1 year ago. She comes to us from Pepin, Wisconsin where she grew up and graduated from Pepin High School. After graduating high school, Brianna joined the United States Navy where she served as an Aircrew Survival Equiptmentman. Although she saw many places during her enlistment, she was primarily stationed in Whidbey Island, Washington. After her time in the military, she lived in Arkansas while attending school at Concorde in Memphis,Tennessee and obtaining an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Brianna has since returned to Wisconsin and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young son. Brianna enjoys forming new relationships with patients and helping them to achieve the oral health every patient deserves.
Dental Assistant, LDA
Michelle started working at Kell Dental Arts 6 months ago. She comes to us with 29 years of Dental Assisting experience, where she is licensed in MN and WI. Besides general dentistry, she is highly skilled in all specialty procedures such as orthodontics, endodontics, lab work, and advanced cosmetic procedures.
Here at Kell Dental Arts, Michelle takes pride in connecting with our patients and provides you with a positive and comfortable experience at each dental visit. Michelle also delivers preoperative and post-operative treatment instructions, listens to all your dental concerns, establishes a clear communication to patients and team, and to ensure that all patients specific needs are met.
On Michelle’s spare time, you will find her outdoors where she enjoys fishing, biking, hiking, and the occasional snow shoveling. When she’s not outdoors, she likes watching a good movie and being with her family and friends sharing time, belly laughs, and creating memories.
